Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are back together at last. Finally, after two below par sequels to the original movie, an action-packed, sexy, exciting sequel to “The Fast and the Furious” that keeps anticipation mounting has arrived. The film is awesome on so many levels.

This movie is what ties it all together for “The Fast and The Furious” fans. The first movie certainly left viewers wanting more, and the next two films failed to deliver the heart-pounding thrill that can only come from seeing Diesel as Dom behind the wheel of a souped-up muscle car. On that point, this movie delivered. It tied in the third movie, bringing in one of the characters from “Tokyo Drift,” in which Diesel didn’t appear except in a short cameo at the end. It also showed what happened to Walker’s character Brian after his time in “2 Fast 2 Furious.”

“Fast and Furious” doesn’t just bring back Diesel and Walker. Also returning from the original movie is Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, Dom’s girlfriend, and Jordana Brewster as Mia, Dom’s younger sister and Brian’s former girlfriend. The girls bring the heat from the start with Letty and Dom’s crew, stealing gas from a moving tanker truck in the opening scene.

In every movie, however, there has to be a tragedy. One of the girls Dom loves is murdered, sending him into a blood rage as he hunts down the man who did it. He meets Brian again when they both get on the path of the same drug dealer.

This movie is about action — pure, exhilarating action. Right from the first scene, viewers will be left holding their breath. The scene brought back memories from “The Fast and The Furious,” the first movie in the series, with a different and more exciting twist.

The movie also brought a new twist to the car races that made the series so popular. The characters aren’t simply racing to win in this movie, and they aren’t even racing on the streets for the most part.

Although the plot isn’t necessarily deep or unexpected, “Fast and Furious” will satisfy those who love a good action film. Indeed, those likely to pay to see this movie are those wanting to see fast cars and exciting explosions. Just leave this movie to the fans who appreciate watching nice cars going fast.

The movie rocked. There is no doubt about that. Action-lovers, car-lovers and Vin Diesel-lovers must go see this movie as soon as possible. It definitely ranks as the best action movie that has been released this year.
